FARM TRUCK

Untitled design-46.png

Back in March 2022, by random chance, we discovered a 1937 Chevy 1/2-ton pickup out in a rancher's field in Idaho. Since we had been looking for an old farm truck, we couldn't wait to bring it back to Lincoln. My husband John along with our dear friends from the Warhawk Air Museum in Nampa, Idaho bundled up and drove a few hours to the middle of nowhere and got her loaded on the trailer. Full of dents, rust, bird nests, and a lot of dirt, she could not have been more beautiful.

Our First Picture of the Truck

We instantly fell in love with the history of this model and have been painstakingly rebuilding it to use here on the farm.  This will not be a show truck, but it will be a productive and useful part of our daily operations. It's been my dream to fill the bed with fresh flowers and drive it around Lincoln!

It has presented some challenges as we hunt for parts, but we are making slow and steady progress.  We are currently working on the upholstery and painting the chassis.

We'll be updating the website as we get closer to the day we drive it!
